Week 2 Player of the Week: Collins Hill’s Deuce Geralds

Deuce Geralds is joined by Collins Hill defensive coordinator Cory Beck for the presentation of the GHSF Daily Player of the Week award.

Collins Hill is off to a 2-0 start with tight victories over ranked teams.

In the latest, a 21-14 win against Woodward Academy, junior defensive lineman Deuce Geralds had three sacks and scored on a 41-yard run to break a 14-14 tie.

Against Grayson the week before, Geralds had four sacks and broke the school career sack record held by New York Giants linebacker Tomon Fox.

“Friday he was great at everything he did, and the past two games he has been a man amongst boys, and his elite stats prove he is the best player out there every Friday,” Collins Hill coach Drew Swick said.

Geralds, a consensus top-100 national recruit among juniors, is GHSF Daily’s Player of the Week. The award is sponsored by Sports Turf.
