Week 3 Offensive Line of the Week: Marist

GHSF Daily’s Offensive Line of the Week is Marist’s unit of left tackle Austin Sperry, left guard Henry Utsch, center Matt Monarchik, right guard Kelly Spalding and right tackle Brady Barry. Averaging just 220 pounds per player, they paved the way for 337 rushing yards and five touchdowns in a 38-0 victory over then-No. 10 Woodward Academy of Class 5A. It was largest margin of victory for either team in the history of a series that dates to 1922. The offensive line coach is Dan Perez, a member of Marist’s coaching staff since 1989. The award is sponsored by Alfa Insurance.

Gary Nelson of Alfa Insurance helped present Marist offensive line coach Dan Perez and his players the GHSF Daily Offensive Line Of The Week award.
