Callaway forfeits victory over Cedartown

The GHSA has overturned Callaway’s opening 27-10 victory over Cedartown on Aug. 25 and made it a forfeit, Callaway principal Jason Graham announced on the school's Facebook page Wednesday.

Graham said the GHSA had notified Callaway of four ineligible players. Ineligible players typically are those do not meet the GHSA's academic or transfer requirements.

Callaway’s record is now 1-2. Cedartown is 2-2.
