Central Gwinnett hires former Greene County head coach Banks
Terrance Banks, who led Class A Greene County to 10-2 and 8-3 finishes in his two seasons there, is Central Gwinnett’s new football coach.
Gwinnett County Schools approved the hire Friday.
Banks will replace Larry Harold, who was 12-18 in three seasons. Central Gwinnett, a Region 8-6A school, was 4-6 in 2024 and last had a winning season in 2015.
Banks is returning to Gwinnett County, where was Meadowcreek’s head coach for the second half of the 2021 season.
Bank also has been head coach at Tri-Cities and Newton. He is a DeKalb County native and Lakeside graduate.
