Meadowcreek promotes Burdette to replace Wofford

Meadowcreek on Thursday promoted Johnny Burdette to replace Todd Wofford, who retired. Burdette had been assistant head coach, running backs coach and run-game coordinator,

Burdette is a former head coach at McNair, his alma mater, and has worked on staffs at Berkmar and Discovery. He’s a former Georgia Southern player. Meadowcreek was 0-10 last season.
