The Leaderboard: Slaughter moves into top spot in rushing yards through Week 11

Providence Christian running back Quinton Slaughter took the lead in GHSA rushing last week with a 250-yard game against East Jackson.

Slaughter can surpass 2,000 yards in his final regular-season game tonight against Banks County.

Slaughter will be hard to catch because the No. 2 rusher, Wayne County’s Matthew Fuller, has finished his regular season with 1,837 yards.

In passing and receiving, Loganville’s Brody Hannah and Ahmed Souare are leaders in the clubhouse with their regular seasons complete.

Look for Prince Avenue Christian’s Aaron Philo to finish on top in passing. His team plays for the Region 5-A Division I title tonight against Social Circle.

In receiving, Souare and No. 2 Sacovie White of Cass are off this week. North Murray’s Judson Petty is 181 yards behind Souare, and Petty's team plays at Rockmart tonight for the Region 7-2A championship.
