Georgia Elite Classic hits Year No. 11 with four games in December

One of the nation’s biggest days of high school football all-star games has been set for Friday, Dec. 29, at Barron Stadium in Rome.

The Georgia Elite Classic will feature four games on Peachtree TV beginning at 10 a.m. with an eighth-grade matchup, followed by the seniors game at 12:45 p.m., the juniors game at 3:30 and the freshmen and sophomores game at 6:15.

Recruiting analyst Rusty Mansell of On3 has already begun choosing players, and nominations can be submitted by clicking here.

The games will also be available on the Atlanta News First app as well as the NFHS Network. Each player will stay two nights in a Rome hotel, participate in three practices and have the chance to be seen by a large group of recruiting experts including Mansell, who is considered one of the top recruiting minds in the country.
