Flag Football Player of the Week: Trinity Christian’s Anna Grace Moore
Anna Grace Moore, a freshman at Trinity Christian, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. Moore passed for 198 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 115 yards in victories over Newnan and Whitewater last week. Moore has passed for 1,015 yards and 13 touchdowns and rushed for 285 yards and two touchdowns in seven games, all victories. Trinity Christian is ranked No. 5 in Georgia’s Division 2, or middle-sized schools. Moore also is a standout soccer player. “We had seen Anna Grace play the week before tryouts in our powder puff game and knew she was a natural leader,” Trinity Christian coach Mike Townson said. “Since then, she has earned the respect of her teammates. Coming off an elite-eight season and graduating our quarterback, we didn't know who would take that place. Anna Grace took charge from day one. Football-wise she is very athletic, can read coverages and has a team-first mentality.”
GHSF Daily, in partnership with the Atlanta Falcons, will recognize a flag football player of the week each Monday through the December state finals. The Falcons will provide a “Falcons Care Package” of souvenirs and merchandise to each weekly winner at the end of the season. Nominations can be sent by Sunday each week by clicking here or replying to this email.
