Julia Geis and Jaclyn Johns of Blessed Trinity are GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Players of the Week. Geis threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Johns in the second overtime of Blessed Trinity’s 19-13 victory over Milton for the Class 7A championship Thursday.

Lindsey Gergans, a senior at Milton, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. Gergans was 17-of-21 passing for 228 yards and four touchdowns in a 26-20 victory over No. 1-ranked McEachern in the Class 7A quarterfinals Thursday.

Hannah McIver, a junior at Lithia Springs, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. McIver intercepted four passes, returning two for touchdowns, in shutout victories over New Manchester and Douglas County last week.

Amber Kirkpatrick, a senior at McEachern, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. Kirkpatrick led McEachern to a 16-0 regular season, which concluded with four victories Saturday.

Anna Grace Moore, a freshman at Trinity Christian, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. Moore passed for 198 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 115 yards in victories over Newnan and Whitewater last week.

Kendall Isaacs, a sophomore quarterback at St. Anne-Pacelli, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. Isaacs was 32-of-47 passing for 441 yards in victories last week over Carver of Columbus, Jordan and St. Mary’s.

Mia James, a sophomore at Hebron Christian, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. Playing quarterback, James led Hebron to a 7-0 record over five days last week with victories over Oconee County, Shiloh, Lanier, Dacula, Calvary Day, Lakeside of Atlanta and Kennesaw Mountain.

Kathryn Hutchinson, a senior from River Ridge, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. In her team’s two games last week, both victories, Hutchinson passed for 312 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 167 yards and one touchdown.

Korine Talkington, a junior from defending Class A/4A champion Southeast Bulloch, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. She got her first career start at quarterback last week and led the Yellow Jackets to a 5-0 record.
