Week 12 Student-Athlete of the Week: Lincoln County’s Trey Huff
Trey Huff, a 5-foot-10 senior quarterback and defensive back at Lincoln County, is the scoutSMART Student-Athlete of the Week. Huff has passed for 742 yards and six touchdowns and rushed for 632 yards and nine touchdowns for the 8-2 Red Devils, who won the 8-A Division II championship this season for their first region title since 2012. Huff was a GHSF Daily preseason all-state pick at defensive back in his classification and has been selected as the MaxPreps Player of the Game four times this season. He also plays on the school’s baseball and track and field teams. “Trey Huff is a coach's dream come true,” Lincoln County head coach Lee Chomskis said. “He understands the importance of servant leadership. Trey always puts his teammates first. He is a 4.0 student that plays three sports at Lincoln County High School. We are truly blessed to have Trey Huff in our athletic programs.”
