Week 12 Student-Athlete of the Week: Woodward Academy’s Landon Walker

Landon Walker, a senior quarterback at Woodward Academy, is the scoutSMART Student-Athlete of the Week. Walker, who has a 4.37 GPA, has passed for 1,898 yards and 20 touchdowns and rushed for 369 yards and eight touchdowns this season for the War Eagles, who won their fourth consecutive region championship. Walker has multiple Division I football offers and has committed to the Naval Academy. He is also a member of the Woodward Academy baseball team. “Landon is a highly intelligent young man with the heart of lion! He is a fierce competitor,” Woodward Academy head coach John Hunt said. “His ability to extend plays with his legs makes him an extremely talented quarterback. Landon is a team captain and a well-respected role model around school.”
