Flag Football Player of the Week: Milton’s Audrey Jensen

Audrey Jensen, a junior quarterback at Milton, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. Jenson was 30-of-40 passing for 481 yards and six touchdowns as Milton beat Johns Creek 27-12 and Blessed Trinity 28-27 last week. Blessed Trinity was the No. 1-ranked team in Division 3. Milton is 13-4 and ranked No. 4. Jensen has thrown for 2,278 yards and 31 touchdowns this season. She has thrown at least one touchdown pass in each game that she has played. “She has that it factor, cool, calm and collected, the ultimate competitor, unfazed,” Milton coach Clark Nixon said. “Throws an interception against BT, then next play throws a 72-yard TD pass.” Jensen also is a lacrosse player and wants to play that sport in college.

GHSF Daily, in partnership with Score Atlanta, will recognize a Flag Football Player of the Week each Monday through the December state finals. Winners will be presented with an award at their school and be featured on the “Georgia High School Sports Daily” TV show on the Peachtree Sports Network. Nominations can be sent by Sunday each week by clicking here.
