Week 2 Offensive Line of the Week: Madison County

Madison County coaches and offensive linemen accept their award Wednesday at a school pep rally.

GHSF Daily’s Offensive Line of the Week is Madison County’s unit of left tackle Braxten Waller, left guard Brady Collier, center Walker Simmons, right guard Dylan Kesler and right tackle Justin Smith with tight ends Josh Strickland and Wyatt Morris. They paved the way for 527 rushing yards, seven rushing touchdowns and 609 total yards in a 55-35 victory over Elbert County, which was ranked No. 4 in Class A Division I. The offensive line coach is Jim Taylor, also the offensive coordinator. The award is sponsored by Alfa Insurance and the U.S. Army.
