Week 4 Student-Athlete of the Week: Wes Pope, Telfair County

Wes Pope, a junior offensive lineman at Telfair County, is the scoutSMART Student-Athlete of the week. Pope, who has a 4.0 GPA and is ranked No. 1 in his class, plays football, tennis, and golf. He is a member of the Boys Quartet and is a soloist. He is a member of Beta and the National Honor Society. Pope volunteers to do the morning announcements at school. “Wes is a tireless worker that is not afraid to pitch in and help where help is needed no matter the task, Telfair County head coach Matt Burleson said. “He is an excellent role model for our youth.”
