Week 6 Student-Athlete of the Week: Cherokee Bluff’s Jacob Benjamin

Jacob Benjamin, a 6-foot-5, 270-pound senior offensive lineman at Cherokee Bluff, is the scoutSMART Student-Athlete of the Week. Benjamin, a Class 4A preseason all-state pick by GHSF Daily, has a 4.3 GPA and is committed to play football at the United State Military Academy. He was also selected to represent Cherokee Bluff on Youth Leadership Hall County and is involved in the Symphonic Band at Cherokee Bluff. “While he has tremendous God-given talent, it is his intangibles that truly separate him,” Cherokee Bluff head coach Tommy Jones said. “He is an incredibly hard worker, great student, genuine friend, and team leader. In addition, he is driven, motivated, conscientious, and humble. He is unwavering in his consistent approach to improve, and he embodies an uncanny ability to make everyone around him better.”
