Week 7 Student-Athlete of the Week: Xaden Benson, North Atlanta

Xaden Benson, a 6-foot, 180-pound senior wide receiver and defensive back at North Atlanta, is the scoutSMART Student-Athlete of the Week. Benson, who has a 4.2 GPA, has 386 yards receiving with eight total touchdowns (five offensive, three defensive) and three interceptions. North Atlanta, which opened in 1991, is 6-0 for the first time in school history heading into tonight’s Region 4-6A game at Riverwood. “Xaden exemplifies everything it means to be a Warrior,” North Atlanta head coach Jamie Aull said. “He excels in every aspect of being a student-athlete. He is an exceptional student. He is an incredible athlete that makes a difference every week. Most importantly, he is an exceptional human that provides leadership and an example of what doing it the right way looks like for all of his teammates. I feel blessed to be a part of his high school football experience.”
