Week 9 Player of the Week: Mill Creek’s Trajen Greco

Mill Creek’s Trajen Greco was joined by head coach Josh Lovelady for the presentation of GHSF Daily’s Player of the Week award.

Mill Creek’s Josh Lovelady paid Trajen Greco a great compliment in preseason when the coach said his wide receiver/cornerback was “probably our most athletic kid” and “has tremendous ball skills, similar to Downs.”

Downs would be Caleb Downs, the 2022 all-classification state player of the year who now starts in Alabama’s secondary.

Greco demonstrated some of what the coach meant last week when he caught seven passes for 125 yards and a touchdown, broke up two passes and had two solo tackles and an assist in a 31-24 victory over No. 1-ranked Buford in an ESPN-televised game between nationally ranked teams.

Greco is GHSF Daily’s Player of the Week. The award is presented by Sports Turf.
