Adam Clack, who launched Milton dynasty, takes Parkview job

Adam Clack, who launched the Milton football dynasty and won the school’s first state title in a 2018 upset, is set to be Parkview’s new head coach.

Clack will replace Joe Sturdivant, a Parkview alumnus who stepped down earlier this month after two seasons to take a job college job in South Dakota.

Clack confirmed the news to the AJC but declined comment pending board approval.

Clack’s Milton teams were 54-12 in five seasons.

The 2018 state championship, won in a 14-13 upset over No. 1-ranked Colquitt County, was the school’s first. Milton had won only two state playoff games until advancing in 2017, Clack’s first season.

Milton promoted assistant Ben Reaves Jr. in 2022 and won state titles the past two seasons.

Clack left Milton to enter college coaching. His first job was at Charlotte as an analyst. He later worked in a European professional league and recently as a football trainer and consultant in metro Atlanta.

Clack had a 20-12 record in three seasons (2014-16) at West Forsyth.

Parkview, a Class 6A school, was 3-7 last season.
