Flag football playoffs to begin Tuesday

The flag football playoffs, contested in classes 7A, 5A/6A and A/4A, begin this week with first- and second-round games Tuesday and quarterfinals Thursday.

The first two rounds are played in one day with four teams at the home fields of the eight area champions in each class. The single survivor of each of these four-team events advances to the quarters.

The semifinals will be played at the Falcons Training Facility in Flowery Branch on Dec. 5. The three championship games are Thursday, Dec. 8, at Georgia State’s Center Parc Stadium preceding the Class A football finals.

Here are the matchups for the first two rounds of the flag football playoffs, which will be played Tuesday. The games listed below are first-round contests; the winners will meet immediately afterwards for the second-round games.
