Recovery from Post-Concussion Syndrome: One athlete's story

Millions of kids and teens sustain a concussion each year. For most of them, the symptoms dissipate over a few days or weeks.

Linden was an exception. For months, she was plagued with double vision, brain fog, headaches and light sensitivity. Her nagging post-concussion symptoms kept the honors student and varsity soccer player out of the classroom and off the field.

Doctors told her there was nothing else they could do - heartbreaking words for her parents to hear. The complications of Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS) can have devastating effects on a young person. Attention disorders, memory issues, sleep disorders and mental health concerns like depression and anxiety are all common among young people with PCS.

Linden’s family turned to the professionals at Aviv Clinics as their last hope for treatment. Today, Linden is back in the classroom, back on the field and back to being herself. Click here to watch her story. Can Aviv Clinics help your student athlete get their life back from PCS?
