Week 10 Offensive Line of the Week: Colquitt County

GHSF Daily’s Offensive Line of the Week is Colquitt County’s unit of left tackle Ja’Quavian “Turk” Daniels, left guards Khalil Collins and Tayshaun Hooks, center Jay’Den Williams, right guard Casey Scott and right tackle Xavier Nickerson. They paved the way for 301 yards rushing and 347 yards passing – both season highs – in a 52-34 victory over Lowndes. Day’Shawn Brown rushed for 142 yards. Ramsey Dennis rushed for 123. Both are juniors. The offensive line coach is Bryce Giddens, a former Packers lineman who joined the staff of his alma mater last season. The award is sponsored by Alfa Insurance and the U.S. Army.
