Flag football Division 2: Greenbrier 18, North Oconee 0

Recap: Kenzie Horton threw two touchdown passes and the Greenbrier defense held North Oconee to 47 total yards (minus-14 rushing) as the Wolfpack won a state championship for the second consecutive season. Greenbrier won 21 straight games after losing to Allatoona 12-6 in the season opener. Carrington Myers provided the only scoring of the first half with a 1-yard touchdown run with 2:05 to play in the first quarter. Horton's second-half touchdown passes - a 21-yarder to Mamie Cate Pangle in the third quarter and a 13-yarder to Maggie Pangle with 27 seconds left in the game - helped the Wolfpack pull away. Horton was 15-of-22 passing for 154 yards, and Greenbrier finished with 175 total yards. Presley McDermott had five receptions for 51 yards. North Oconee's Catherine Cooper was 7-for-21 passing for 61 yards. North Oconee (17-5) lost in the finals for the second year in a row.
