Georgia Elite Classic spots open for football, flag games

The Georgia Elite Classic, moving into its 12th year in December, is looking for offensive and defensive linemen for the junior and senior games as well as positions at the seventh-grade level.

All three teams have a spot or two left at both receiver and defensive back. Rusty Mansell of DawgsHQ is the recruiting director for the event. If you are interested in playing in the three-day event from Dec. 26-28, please call I.J. Rosenberg at 404-246-7819.

The football games will be played on Saturday, Dec. 28, at McEachern High School and televised on the Peachtree TV Sports Network as well as digitally on the Atlanta News First App, YouTube TV, CBS streaming portal Zeam and the National Federation High School Network. The two flag games, one for seniors and the other for underclassmen, will be played on Friday, Dec. 27, and also be televised.
