High school flag football players: Elite Classic wants You!

The Georgia Elite Classic is seeking players for its first-ever flag football all-star games.

The event will take place on Dec. 26-27 and include an overnight stay at the Marriott SpringHill Suites hotel at the Galleria in Marietta. Participants will receive all meals, transportation, a Georgia Elite Classic hoodie, a beanie and an opportunity to keep their jersey.

The two games, one for seniors and the other for underclassmen, will be extended in time and held on Dec. 27 at McEachern High School. The games will be televised live on the Peachtree Sports Network as well as streamed on the NFHS Network, Zeam (CBS Streaming Network), YouTube TV and the Atlanta News First App.

The senior teams will be coached by McEachern head coach Jake Burgdorf and Columbus head coach Christian Grier. The underclassmen teams will be coached by Milton head Clark Nixon and Pace Academy assistant coach Felicia Slaton. The games will be the first of their kind, providing unparalleled exposure to the rising stars of Georgia high school flag football.
