Flag Football Player of the Week: Grace Maddox, North Oconee
Grace Maddox, a senior wide receiver/free safety who helped lead North Oconee into today’s Class A-4A championship game against Southeast Bulloch, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. In four playoff victories, Maddox intercepted five passes, broke up 11 passes and scored three touchdowns and an extra point.
Flag Football Player of the Week: Emani Scott, Therrell
Emani Scott, a senior quarterback at Therrell, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. Scott was selected last week as the lone Georgia player to compete in the U.S. Army Bowl's first Flag All-American Game to be played Dec. 18 in Frisco, Texas.
Flag Football Player of the Week: Parker Bridges, Loganville
Parker Bridges, a junior at Loganville, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. In four games, all victories, Bridges caught four touchdown passes, intercepted five passes, returning four for touchdowns, and returned a punt for a touchdown.
Flag Football Player of the Week: Aaliyah Silver, Greenbrier
Aaliyah Silver, a sophomore wide receiver/running back at Greenbrier, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. Silver has 44 receptions for 432 yards on offense and 49 stops and seven interceptions on defense for an 11-1 team that has shut out nine opponents and hasn’t lost since its opener.
Flag Football Player of the Week: Serenity Hickman, Columbus
Serenity Hickman, a junior quarterback and linebacker at Columbus, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. In leading the Blue Devils to a 10-0 start, Hickman has thrown for 1,594 yards and 31 touchdowns and scored seven touchdowns while pulling a team-leading 34 flags and intercepting nine passes.
Flag Football Player of the Week: Southeast Bulloch’s Alex Odom
Alex Odom, a senior at Southeast Bulloch, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. Odom had 21 receptions for 417 yards and eight touchdowns, pulled 13 flags and intercepted two passes during Southeast Bulloch’s 8-0 week.
Flag Football Player of the Week: Allatoona’s Maci Strickland
Allatoona senior quarterback Maci Strickland is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. Strickland passed for 1,123 yards and 14 touchdowns and rushed for 187 yards and eight touchdowns to help her team to a 6-0 week to open the season.
Flag Football Player of the Week: Pope’s Carly Oubs
Carlee Oubs, a senior at Pope, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. Pope was 7-0 last week in games that Oubs played. Oubs, a wide receiver/cornerback, had 423 receiving yards for 10 touchdowns, intercepted three passes, returning two for touchdowns, and pulled nine flags while typically playing little more than a half.
Flag Football Player of the Week: Pace Academy’s Ansli Hennings
Ansli Hennings, a senior at Pace Academy, is GHSF Daily’s Flag Football Player of the Week. In four games last week, all victories, Hennings intercepted four passes, had four flag pulls, caught 12 passes for 180 yards and three touchdowns and scored five extra points.
